Hi all,

I am a new user of mediaportal. A couple of weeks ago I started to install (Following all the guides in the documentation section) my two “clients” and I must say a wonderful piece of software. Very …...very nice !!

This weekend I started to install the TV server on my “server” but I am not getting any epg data. I started to use xmltv and imported it in TV server with the xmltv plug-in. I get the message imported successfully (did import 25 channels and 5346 programs) but no epg data on the clients. Second I installed mediaportal on my “server” to use webepg. Created my channel list and let run wegepg.exe to populate the tvguide.xml but after the import in TV server no luck again no EPG and not all the 25 channels where imported.

Another question is when the epg will import ok how and where do I put in the right channel numbers for that station/channel? Where is that information stored because when I edit the scanned channel/station numbers the frequency is 00,00

Questions

-Is there a tool, plugin or something else what can help me with setup channels/stations and EPG in tvserver?

-How can I combine the EPG data channels and the channel/station frequency?

-Where are the channel frequency’s stored?

-If needed how do I clean the database? with EPG/Channel/Station information?

-What setup-items are still useable with the new MYtv plugin in mediaportal setup?

Anyone?

This evening (read in a another post) i removed the tvguide.xml. stop and started the tvservice and a refresh epg. After that I did placed back the tvguide.xml and a new refresh of the epg. Now I have 12 channels with correct EPG data and 13 channels have notting.

Is it maybe to early to use tvengine3 with xml ?

I hope someone can explain me why it is not working?
