I'm using mediaportal with the tvengine 3. I have a mixture of 3x DBT-T tuners and 1x DVB-S tuners (FireDTV). I can get EPG for all freeview channels no problem automatically. Unfortunately though I get no EPG for the satellitle channels apart from if I start watching a channel, and even then it's only now and next. Can anyone explain in simple instructions how I can the EPG info into the tv server for my satellite channels?

When I used FTA UK DVB-S I could get the EPG for about 14 days ahead for about 90 channels using WebEPG and the Radio Times grabber. Your HTPC will need an internet connection to do this. My HTPC wakes up at 04:00 each morning, grabs a new EPG from the internet and then hibernates again.
Hopefully the broadcast EPG will improve on FTA satellite once Freesat launches (which is supposed to be Spring 2008 (although it was originally due to launch in 2006 and then 2007))

The names you add must be identical to TVServer, so have the Channels page open at the same time as adding them.
When you have finished and it all works to your liking, backup the WebEPG folder, this is where your config files are stored, as i'm sure you will not be in a hurry to do this again.
