I can't seem to get fullscreen visualizations to work in my installation of mediaportal (v1.0.2.22555). I select the visualization in the configuration window (along with the BASS engine) and the visualization plays in the small preview icon. Whenever I click on it to bring it fullscreen, it just gives me a blank black page. I've attached my log files. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!

After some more investigation I determined the following:
- There is nothing in the log to indicate any problems
- This only happens on Sonique (XMPlay) plugins. WMP and Winamp plugins (Alchemy, Milkdrop, R4) work fine in both fullscreen and windowed mode (I use StreamedMP).
I found a workaround until this gets fixed in MP:
1 . Download the Sonique wrapper plug-in for Winamp at: Sonique Visual Plug-in Wrapper 2 - Customize Winamp Media Player
2. Install it (I have Winamp, don't know whether it works without it).
3. Copy the visualization you want to use in MP in C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins\sqwrap\vis. Do not use subfolders. The trick part is configuring which Sonique vis the plug-in should show. In case you will only stick to one, delete all the others and skip to step 7.
4. Open Winamp and start the vis.
5. With the vis focused, use space to cycle the Sonique visualizations (that's not very intuitive).
6. When you reach the one you want to use in MP, close the vis and close Winamp.
7. Copy the vis_sqwrap.dll and the sqwrap directory from Winamp\Plugins to your MediaPortal\MusicPlayer\plugins\visualizations\winamp directory.
8. Start MP config, select the plug-in as default visualization and configure it (I use max quality because it is very fast anyway).
Start MP and enjoy - should work both in windowed mode as well as fullscreen.
The plugin above works fine but it doesn't produce a very good picture, especially on 1080p resolution.
This one has the good resolution but it is constant - for windowed mode it gets resized down which makes a lot of detail disappear:

- the configure window doesn't run at all in MP config, so config it from winamp
- Sonique vis's go into Winamp\vis
- The ini file from the Winamp\Plugins has to go to the MediaPortal\Plugins directory.
