Hi and welcome After Dark :) So you've got a cable connection and you want to pick up HD channels? Okay, first things first: your card should be set up as two hybrid cards. One group for each pair of digital (ATSC/QAM) and analog tuners. Instructions -->here<--. When scanning cable you're most likely going to find digital encrypted and clear QAM channels and maybe some analog channels too. It looks like you're finding the analog cable channels but you're missing the digital ones... So to resolve this: - make sure that you're using MediaPortal 1.2.0 [final]. Older versions make it harder to help and may have bugs that have been fixed in the latest version - ensure that you haven't got any other software running that might be using the tuner - put all your tuners into "stop card" mode as described -->here<-- ("when card enters idle state...") - scan for channels with one of the first two ATSC/QAM tuners, and make sure you tick "tune QAM instead of ATSC" - you may have to try more than one of the QAM standards before you find anything (I know they take awhile, but best to let the scans finish completely rather than cancel) NOTE: you may find that the HD channels are encrypted, in which case you won't be able to watch them even if you find them in the scan. If all else fails, post logs so I can make sure everything is working as it should. Posting logs is *really* easy: 1. Find the "debug mode" link in the "Team MediaPortal" folder in your start menu. 2. Start it. 3. Select option 3 "export all currently present logs". 4. Click "proceed" - this will create a zip file on your desktop. 5. Post the zip file here. If you get stuck with any of that (like attaching files to a post) then refer to our wiki -->here<--. Also, make sure you have run MediaPortal configuration and clicked OK at least once (to generate a MediaPortal configuration file) before you try and follow the instructions above. Hope that helps! I'm on IRC now if chatting is easier for you... mm :)
