No HDMI resolution when connected through HDMI Cable (1 Viewer)

Hello guys,

When i connect my HTPC to my Samsung LE40R72 HD Ready TV, the view on my screen is very crappy.
When i start Mediaportal it looks cool, and looks like HDMI.

Anyone ideas how i can get a good view in Windows too?

My resolution is 1280x720 @ 50Hz at the moment.

HDMI Card @ ATI X1200Xpress integrated.

Unfortunatly there's always scaling involved when using 720p on a 1366x768 screen. In most cases there's also a huge overscan. So image quality is really bad, especially for text (videos are a bit better). If you don't need hdcp I would recommend using the vga connector (or dvi) with a desktop resolution near your screen resolution (i.e. 1360x768 or 1368x768). This gives the best image but most probably you can only use 60Hz and not 50Hz.
