Hello, so far my HTPC setup (singleseat) works without problems. The only issue is, that when I am watching a HD channel (no matter if 720 or 1080) and switch to a standard SD channel the system takes a long time, then it only plays the sound of the SD channel or sometimes does not switch the channel at all. The issue is easily reproducable.

If I turn of the TV between changing the channels, everything is working fine.

A channel switch from from a HD channel to another HD, from SD to SD or from SD to HD is never a problem. So its only an issue from HD to SD.

I already tried various combinations of MPEG2 / h.264 Video codecs but without success.

The attached logs have been created for following workflow:
Start mediaportal, select a HD channel and watch for a few seconds, switch to a SD channel --> only the sound of the SD channel is played, the image remaings black.

Hope somebody can analyze the issue based on the provided information. Maybe there is a way to fix the problem.

Thxs for your help.

I'm afraid I can't see anything obvious from your logs :(

Have you tried setting the same codec to decode both SD and HD? Cyberlink and FFDShow should be able to.

miroslav22: The problem also occures when using the same codecs for SD and HD channels. Can I provide any further logs / details to help to clarify the issue?

AW: Re: No image when switching from HD to SD channel

    Hello all,

meanwhile I was able to fix my problem. The issue is solved with the newest released driver for the onboard INTEL HD graphics chip - Version 14.46.4.5337 (6.14.10.5337).

    Can anybody close my post?
