Seems to have disapeared, but it is running (shows in taskmanager). How can I manually force it to open setup?

It has probably disappeared because it is failing to start correctly. Try wiping the IR Server.xml file and starting again.
I'll release a new version within a couple of days that will hopefully get around this anyway.

Was just looking at Ad Removal - Comskip and note:
- MP1 only
- 4 The Record 1.3.3 seems to no longer exist
Question: Does anybody have pointers as to how I/we can setup or install something to automatically remove ads during playback on MP2?

here is a small update:
it is probably not due to the Windows update. I ran a new transmitter scan and got the same result. MP no longer starts. Then I got the fuse back and everything works again. A simple reinstall of MP does not bring a solution. Maybe I should reinstall MP from scratch. However, I need a lot of time for this...
