Hey guys,

I'm facing a weird problem. Before I had some issues with viewing TV, which is now working after reinstalling MePo.

I just created a backup from the MovingPictures and MyTV-Series DB and Fanart/thumbs.
Now I migrated the backups to the new installation. MovingPictures is working like a charm, but MyTV-Series does not display any episode.

So I tried to uninstall MyTV-Series, deleted the DB and any backup I could find, even the registry key.
Unfortunately after each try my parsing result looks like this.

The file naming is proper and worked before, for sure the location is correct as well.

Any hint what I'm missing?

I'm using MePo 1.7 pre and the most current plugin version 4.0.2.2072

Hey guys,

sorry to disappoint you. I just could not wait any longer, so I reinstalled completely. The only thing what I have recognized was that the MyTV-Series plugin installation takes a lot more time if you install it the first time into a clean MePo installation. So I guess there have been even more fragments which avoided a clean new plugin installation.

Now everything is working again.

It is always a pitty when only a fresh installation is the only solution.

Fragments of log files will not give the full picture of what is going wrong, but a full backup of db3/thumbs and then restore on same or new system will just work as-is. More then likely you did not follow the right restore steps, such as restoring an old database directly into a new version of the plugin, or other changes causing conflicts. Granted SQLite database corruption can occur and has forced me into a fresh installation as well when I realized the backup was corrupted as well. To that extend I now use a backup script that actually verifies if the database is not corrupt and auto-restores when it is. It is available on the forumif you care fo it.
