Hi all

I recently re-installed my HTPC and now have a problem with live or recorded HD TV channels - I get sound but no picture.
I tested in TV Setup/Preview and also get no picture.
If I play a recorded HD channel (.TS) with Media Player it works properly.
MKV HD movies are working properly in MP.

I've attached a log bundle and also separately "graph_MediaPortal PID (964) IFilterGraph = 694F0C0.jpg" which shows that for some reason the MPC video codec isn't connected. What might cause this problem?

I'm using SAF 3.40 with the PowerDVD codec for MPEG-2.

Cheers
Mark

Right now MP and the h264 MPC HC codec are not compatible.

The SAF thread also clearly states this:

    Problems:
I cannot play some *.ts files/My HDTV don't work!
Well, there is a problem between MP internal TS splitter and MPC-HC decoder, look here:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...twork- internal-tsreader-ax-45208/#post305001
Solution? Rename your *.ts files to MKV or MP4 - this will disable internal ts splitter, and Haali doo the
    work.
No solution for HDTV yet... :(

So for h264 you need a different codec like divx7, powerdvd, coreavc,..
