No picure on DVD screen (1 Viewer)

Hello all,

This is my first post here as you can see.

I have MP setup on an XP machine with a P4 3Ghz, 1gig ram, 6600 256 meg video card, hauppauge nova-t-500 twin tuner pci card..... output on 68cm TV.

My problem is i cant see the picture being played from my DVD drive. Ive tried changing aspect ratios and still no picyure. The only way ive forund a picture is by pressing Ctrl Alt DEL and i get a screen that says Media Portal Full Screen Video.

I can watch tv also but cant get it to go fullscreen either.

Any help appriciated.

Ok.

Ive switched to an external DVD program and thats temporarily fixed the problem with the DVD.

With the TV i can only get a picture on original. Why would that be so?

That solved all my problems by reducing the font size......
