To put it quite simply, the internal player of MediaPortal will not play anything. No music or video. When I try to start something MediaPortal just crashes. After that I get the watchdog screen and when I try to get an error log Watchdog crashes aswell. I used BSplayer to play my videofiles before but now i would like to use a remote control and it isn't working with BSplayer.
Some of the things I've tried are
Trying all settings under the video tab (all codecs)
Install C++
Install .Net various versions
Check windows media player (latest version 11.xx)
edit: Managed to get a log file after all.
