Synopsis::

Since a short while get the horrible "No signal" error again.. resulting in lots of snowy recordings. It worked OK for a while. It suddenly stopped working again :(

I deleted the recordings\card1 directory, removed the card in MP Config. Added it again and had it scan for the channels (that worked OK).

What can I try to get it working again :((

    Hello,
    Have you got ffdshow installed ?
    I have resolved it with ffdshow post-processing unchecked in setup TV of MP

    Hi,

    this seems to be a tuning bug of MP! Make sure you have set the right input source and country in:
    Setup->Television->Capture Cards->Edit (PVR 350)->Autotune

    If this does not help make sure, that frequencies are set in:
    Setup->Television->Channels->Edit

    Usally the frequencies are set to 0 and MP should be able to pick the right frequency with the input source settings. But it seems as if there is a bug.

    HTH, Flip.

    Has this bug been addressed ?

    So far so good

    I'm using the SVN of yesterday, and so far so good. But what I did notice is that:
    a) In a clean install the manual freq scan fills the frequency fields in the channel list
    b) When importing a channel list and THEN doing a manual scan does NOT fill the frequencies in the channel list

    So maybe i've been lucky so far. I guess it would make sense to change the scan behaviour in such a way that a) and b) behave the same (just use a query that checks for a non default (eg number) channel name to see if the name has to be filled as well
