No Smilies or VB Code in Forum posts (1 Viewer)

I have lost my ability to enter Smilies or VB Codes in messages. I used to have it! My user preferences are set to Standard Editing with Enhanced controls. I even resaved the preferences to be sure.

The buttons for text formating appear but they are all greyed out. The Smilies also appear although the text header for the Smilies box is greyed out. When I click on any formatting box or on any Smilie nothing happens.

I am thinking it must be something in my browser or firewall settings, but I'm not sure. I am using Opera 9.21 and Kaspersky Internet Security Suite (6.0.2.614)

If anyone has an idea I would appreciate the help! Thanks

Please enable Javascript in your browser (Tools -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Content -> Enable JavaScript)

I did check that Javascript was enabled. But I had installed and uninstalled Javacript runtime to use Paros, so maybe it screwed something up. So I reinstalled Opera and it works perfectly now. Thanks for the tip!
