No sound on 'Music Choice'-channels (1 Viewer)

When choosing one of the Music Choice channels the picture (basically just a logo showing which channel it is) comes up, but no audio. Watching the channels in FireDTV Viewer produces audio just fine.

Normally if checking the ffdshow audio decoder configuration while watching TV in MP it reports the type of input, but on these channels all fields are empty.

Also, on a Client PC i haven't got any sound on these channels as well. Connecting to the stream using vlc produces audio just fine though.

No problem with that here not sure what it could be (btw i'm using floppydtv-s & same codecs as you on a vista x64 & latest MP/TV Server)

I have this problem on all 4 machines I've tried:

1. Vista Home Premium SP1 (server)
2. Vista Ultimate SP1 (client)
3. Vista Home Premium (client)
4. XP Pro SP2 (client)

Strange... I don't know where to start looking.

I just did a test recording a short clip. Playing the clip back up in mp produces no sound, but if I feed vlc with it the sound is there.

I uploaded the clip to the ftp (Rock Anthems - Rock Anthems - 2008-09-08.ts) if anyone wishes to have a look.

My provider (Canal Digital Sweden) no longer carry these channels, so unfortunately I can't test this anymore.

it was some good channels.
