No sound on when watching TV (1 Viewer)

Hi all, everything working fine yesterday, but today i cannot get any sound when watching the TV channels or when watching recorded programmes.

The sound works fine when watching films / TV shows in Moving Pictures / My TV Series, in Music, Last.fm, etc.

Not sure whether it's related or not, but i cannot now get surround sound through any media player on the HTPC!

Cannot post logs at the moment, as the missus is watching the TV, and she's already annoyed at the amount of time i've spent trying to sort this.

Will hopefully post them tomorrow!

you have tried system restore? take the pc back a day.

Sorted... turns out that when i was trying to get live footy streaming through media player, the codec packs installed conflicted with those already installed.

All codecs removed, Media Portal removed and re-installed and the SAF pack re-installed.

Everything now works fine!
