I am not sure why all the info I put in for my system isn't pulling in, like I thought it was supposed to, so I will re-add in this paragraph. I am having some problems. I ripped some of my DVD TV series, using AnyDVD HD and DVD Shrink, to VOB files. I went in and tried to play them in MP and the video is fine, but I get no audio, either through my digital optical out through the receiver, nor through the HDMI to my TV. No sound from either. Here is some of the system specs I have: AMD AtholonII X4 2.8GHz, MB: Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H, RAM: 4GB DDR3-1333, GPU: ATI Sapphire Radeon hd 4670 DDR3 1GB, HDD: WD 640GB, Antec Fusion Remote Case, MP 1.1 Beta, StreamedMP skin, Onboard Realtek ALC889A Audio with 1 Optical S/PDIF port. I have searched and I have seen some people be able to rename the vob file to mpg and it will start to play the audio. I tried that, but it didn't work for me. I have ffdshow installed on the system, along with AC3Filter. Haali Media Splitter, MPC Video Decoder. As a side note, and I am going to open another topic for this, but maybe they are related: When I watch my blu-ray rips, that are in MKV containers, I can only hear the audio through my tv, through hdmi. The optical s-pdif out to my receiver doesn't play anything as well - maybe they are related, that's why I bring it up. Thanks,
