Hi, I have a problem when using the nVidia Pure Video decoders and watching a ripped DVD (vob files). I get no sound. If I look at the nVideo decoder details, I can see that it is decrypting audio as the bit/rate bar changes. I have set the video and audio codex as nvidia in Setup->Movies->Movie Player. I have done a speaker test/calibration using the nvidia pure video when it is playing without any vob movie audio and I get the white noise etc when it checks if a speaker is working. I have set the audio renderer to nForce audio, DirectSound:nforce audio, default direct sound and default waveout device. No change.
If I watch the same vob in media player I get sound and it works fine.
If I uninstall the nvidia pure video and use DScaler for both video and audio it works fine.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
Cheers.
