Hi all!
Wondered if you could help me with this minor but irritating thing... not necessarily a fault though. I cant find any info in the forum from searching, so either my set up is odd or nobody else cares!
Basically, one of the main uses of my media centre is for music (and thanks for ASIO support in the SVN!). Everything is fine until I turn the TV off, then I loose sound. This is annoying as it means the TV has to always be on (albeit in screensaver, or monitor off mode). Is it just me that experiences this, or is this a MP thing, or a windows thing? And is theer a way around it? I was thinking along the lines of a plugin to "fool" the OS/MP into thinking the monitor is always present.
Thanks in advance guys. Set Up:
AMD64 4200 X2
Zalman CPU Fan
Leadtek USB TV
1Gb Ram
250Gb Seagate barracuda HD
Silverstone LC11M Case
GeForce 7300LE GPU
Sony DVD RW
Panasonic 32" LCD TV via DVI>HDMI adapter
ASRock Mobo with onboard 7.1 HD audio
Sound via HDMI SPDIF header to external DAC using ASIO
