No TV signal, after 1.1.2 update (1 Viewer)

Help, i have recently updated to the latest version of MP, but after trying to setup tv server again, i just get "No signal" on the scanning dialogue. This has only occured since update. The USB DVB-T workes fine.

I have a KWORLD DVB-S tuner card, but the driver in Device Manager states it is a Connexant AVS capture card?

I have restored to original version of MP, which is 1.1.1, but still not working.

The dvbs card works fine in DVBviewer,

Have removed the MP installation completely twice, and the tv server twice, and reinstalled, have deleted the Database also.



anyone have any further ideas.

I have no signal either, but I did a fresh install of version 1.1.2. (twice)

Same thing happened both times:
First I scanned the channels and was rearranging the channel list when I suddenly could'nt preview the channels anymore.

Its the first time I have had any problems with MP (since ver. 1.0.0)

I am on Win7, 32Bit with a Technotrend PCI budget S2-3200 (DVB-S2)

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Your issue has me quite puzzled. I mean I see that you're using the latest drivers, which is good. Decryption and tuning was working perfectly, and then it just appears to start failing! At least I can say that you shouldn't have to reinstall MediaPortal to get things working again. Try restarting your computer instead and let me know if that fixes the issue, even if only temporarily...

[Edit: I have a suspicion that the issue may be related to the use of the CI menu. Try restarting first, and if the tuner works again then try using the CI menu again and see if tuning is broken again.]

I found the fault - it was my own...:sorry:

I had checked: "Allow this card to be preloaded" in the card edit section. Apparantly that does not work on this card.

I hoped it did because the channel change is kinda slow on my card, but that's another story.
