Hello

MP Server 0.3beta was working great with my Hauppauge HVR-4000 until Version 12.03.2007 :p

I only configured the DVB-S part. I deactivated DVB-T, Analog and the Hauppauge PVR-150 Analog part.

Since then I have installed a few new SVN builds and all of them gave me the same problem:

1) I start MediaPortal TV Server Setup
2) Go to "Manual Control"
3) Choose Channel "Das Erste" for ARD
4) It says "Card 2 DVBS idle"
5) I click "Start TimeShift"
6) It starts the TimeShifting
7) I click "Stop TimeShift"

I exit the TV Server Management Console.

Next I do step 1-6 again.
6) After a while I receive the error "No Video/Audio detected"

See the logs.

After this ProgDVB also doesn't work anymore.

The only way to reset this is to manually detach the sat cable and reconnect it to the card, then ProgDVB works again but not MediaPortal.

I'm now back with Version 12.03.2007 which does not have this problem, any version after that doesn't work.

Any help? :D

Hi all,

I got the same problem with TVE3: "Timeshift could not started; No Vodeo/Audio found".

Log file says: "waiting for pmt xx".

What is pmt?

I reinstalled windows XP with all patches and necassary software and i tried saveral SVN's. No impact seen.
The problem occurs in TVSERVER Setup at Manual control or TV channel preview too --> so this must be a TVServer issue.

I could not find any root cause for this problem but it seems that MP works better if the DVB EPG is disabled. Maybe EPG is locking the card? Maybe the problem will not occur if you have 2 Sat cards but this i can not verify; I have only one.

Does anybody know a solution? Meanwhile I will change back to TVE2.
