Since today i have on almost all dutch RTL channels except RTL 4 the "no video/audio bug". Strange thing is, if I uninstall the TV Client so that I only use MP, I can watch the channels. However if I install the TV Plugin I get the error again. This error also shows up when I start a preview in TV Server itself. Most of the other channels seem to work fine so far. I cleared all logs and tried watching RTL 5 from within TV Server because the problem seems to be in here. The results of the constructed logs can be seen in the attachment. Hope this can be fixed since MP itself doesn't setup the TV Channels according to how there are supposed to be (order-wise) and I just like TV Engine 3 better.

Never mind. Apparently something has changed on the dutch RTL channels because a lot of people are complaining about bad reception or no reception at all. So probably not entirely MP related. However it remains a strange thing that I can view the channels with MP stand-alone but not with Single-seat TV Engine setup.

UPDATE: Now the normal stand-alone MP does also not show the RTL 5, 7 and 8 channels, so there is definitely something going on.

OK, maybe "bad reception" isn't the right term. The signal quality is at over 95% so that isn't the problem. What I meant to say is that the channels are allready, from the headstation of the cable company, send as a 'bad stream'. So the problem is not MP related but cable company related. Seems like RTL changed something or the cable company did change something and now a lot of users are complaining about lost of sound and lots of artifacts. Though some of the certified STB's don't seem to be having any problems, while others do. Anyways, something changed in the streams and therefore MP (yes also MP stand-alone now) and TVE can't show them anymore. Don't know if this is a flaw in MP, but I do know that I can still watch the streams via PC-TV (the Twinhan program).

Update: Apparently somebody at the cable company woke up and fixed the problem.
