Since no one has offered you any help, I'll try.

First, you have to have BDA drivers installed. If they are, then you may need to adjust your CaptureCardDefinitions file entry for your card.

Go through the process of adding a new card, it's really not that hard. You need to run GraphEdit to get your card info. Here's the instructions:

http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/Add_TVCard_to_natively_supported_list

First, make a copy of the original CaptureCardDefinitions file and put it in a safe folder. Then, if there are any differences, change the file and see what happens.

EDIT: Pay special attention to this line in the instructions:
devid=”paste moniker here (every time there is an & add amp; after it)

Hi

Thanks for your reply - but I cant figure out what to do.

First of all my TV Tuner Card is an analog devise - does that have something to say?

In the GraphEdit i cant find BDA Network Providers. It dosent seem to be there.

And my TV Tuner Card does not show up under BDA Reciever Component.

But i can find the TV Tuner Card in the "Capturedevises for WDM-streaming.

Sorry, you did not say what type of tuner you had. The process for WDM similar, but I do not own an analog tuner, so I can't give you specific advice.

And thank you ronilse, I thought that there may be another set of instructions somewhere.

Sending in the data is only for future users of MP. You need to edit the CapturCardDefinitions file and add your data so that your card will be recognized.

It us unusual for a card to be totally new and different, so there should be an existing entry that is similar to yours. Just copy that one and modify it for your card. If it still is not seeing your card, then you need to try again.

I don't know if they are even bothering to add new cards any more. The new TVEngine will automatically detect cards.

My experience with analog tuners is zero. So, like I said, find an existing entry and COPY it. Add it to the bottom of the file and change it to match what you found in GraphEdit.

Let me go back a few steps.

In the Media Portal folder, where it was installed, open the CaptureCard DefinitionsFile.xml with WordPad.

Look for an existing card that has the same tuner as yours. If you find one, copy the entry and paste it to the bottom of the page. If you can't find one, you'll have to creat a new one from scratch, use the other ones as a guide.

Now, change the entries to match what you found with GraphEdit. save the file and try to set your card up.

I did notice that your graph has no connections. Right click on the output pins and select connect pins (or something like that). That should help you out.
