When i play something in My TV, this be either something i have recorded or live TV (through TVE3) i most often get a black screen, the sound is there, but no picture, OSD pops up on demand (i.e. forward 15 sec). I can then restart the recording several times, and then i often ends up getting it to work. I can hear when that when it doesn't work i get the first sec of so of the sound in the beginning of the recording, oven tho i ask it to resume from where it got to.

If i play the same recording in My videos it works like a charm.

Automatic comskip skipping isn't emabled (thought it was that as some point).

It is driving my insane, i have installed ffdshow_beta4a_rev1723_20071224, and no other codecs (except for the ones that come with MP)

Please help :)

This is by far your biggest problem, it's a DX7 graphics card and is really struggling to cope with the live tv rendering.

Have you tried other codecs like MPV or Gabest one, have you also tried with H\W acceleration\DXVA off, vmr9 exclusive enabled\disabled.

    and

These should be the same revision number.

    Thank for the reply

I was useing MPV before as my codec, but i tried Dscaler and that seemed to work, i also changed "mode" from stretch to normal.

I didn't know that the rev's of TVE3 and MP should be the same, that's been fixed. :)

Can anyone recomend an AGP card that's better? perferebly one that can decode HD? Is that out of bounds for AGP now? (rather not have to upgrade MB, CPU and RAM)

Funny you asked this as i was looking for a agp card for a friend last night, 7600gt would be needed for HD, but to be honest your processor, just may not cope with any software decoding of H.264, so i would save for a complete upgrade when you are ready.

Any Nvidia FX5200 or Ati 9550 onwards is DX9, but faster better.
