Sometimes Virus programs identify viruses incorrectly...It happens all the time, and that’s why I scan all files that I download with at least three different scanners.... My main antivirus’s at the moment are Norton360 V2, Norton System Works 2008 & AVG8 Business Edition (all running on different PC’s on my home network) , and none of them show a problem with RC4. You are safe to install RC4…there is no virus or adware in it…

I wasen´t worried but, if I was a first time user there might have been an issue to not install the application

Please notify the NOD-support about this issue if you are a customer there. These false positive happen from time to time and get mostly fixed within the next update. Just someone need to tell them ;)

For a quick filecheck you can use Online malware scan just to be secure.

Just as a bit of a update, Avast spat out TVserver as a unwanted program to install, this could be a neverending thread.

As high said, just advise them of any findings :)
