Synopsis::

Okay, a slight (or major) problem regarding the tweaking? of Media Portal.

Under Settings->Setup Wizard I find there are two options for "How will you use Media Portal?"

1) On a dedicated PC
2) On a desktop PC shared with other applications

Now, I have it on a normal PC, but it is set on option 1. If I select option 2 and go through the options, roughly where the TV tuner is round (Hauppauge DVB-T) after the Remote Controls it starts to play up. If I am quick at pressing next I can get to the select country screen but then very soon afterwards it closes down the program. This does not happen with option 1.

Obviously if it is set up for a dedicated PC, like it is, it's going to be a true resource hog, which it is. But it doesn't let me change it to a normal PC. My question is:

1) Can anyone tell me what the two settings *actually* change?
2) Is this a problem that is known, is it just me, or is it something that will be fixed with a future release?
3) Is there a way to make the change from dedicated to PC without the GUI? Any way of changing the files behind it all?

    These two options only change a few MP settings, like starting in fullscreen mode, etc.

    All these settings can be set individually in the configure program. Also this Wizard is still under development.
