Not able to playback videofiles (1 Viewer)

Hi!

I'm trying to get my videofiles to play of my HD - but it does not work!

I am wondering if it is a codec specific problem but I have been told that codecs and internal player are includede with MP.

Anybody got a clue?

The files I am talking about are .avi files.

Hi,
Without knowing anything about MP version & system specs & without logs attached, I can only say have you tried to install ffdshow (grab the latest if you havn't)?
