I updated from RC3 to RC4, cleaned complete channellist, did a new clean tv channelscan and suddenly some of my channels were not detected! Channels like Eurosport, BBC Entertainment or Veronica, big channels here in Holland, were gone.
Here is a list of all Caiway frequencies I need to find all channels
DVB-C nl-caiw digitaal radio/tv zender lijst
I don't know if some frequencies are missing in MP or if this is a bug.
logs attached

Anyone else having problems finding all available channels with a clean scan?

Update:
With the list I posted (DVB-C nl-caiw digitaal radio/tv zender lijst) I scanned the specific frequencies of missing channels and MP found all the missing channels.
So there must be a bug in the scanning process (in this case with the Caiway file) or the Caiway scanning list is incomplete...
Could anybody of the dev team check this? I'm looking forward to the findings!

Compare your list with the list provided with MP (Tuning detail files stored in TVserver configuration folder)
And if MP misses some frequencies add it and post in
Submit: EPG-Grabbers and tuningdetails - MediaPortal Forum

I checked some frequencies of channels that I missed after a Caiway-scan in MP...and the frequencies are present in the tuning detail file of Caiway. But they are not picked up, only with a custom scan on a specific frequency.

..This sounds to me like a bug in the automatic scanning process.

Can any tester with DVB-C reproduce it?

I had some thing with dvb-t card..

If there is a problem, we need logs in order to see if it is the same. Unlikely since you have DVB-T and the other user has DVB-C, but you never know.

    any news on this?

Well, so far we have you seeing this issue with DVB-C and provided logs, and one user reporting similar with DVB-T with no logs.

It would be nice to know if this is a general problem, or something weird about your setup. The team is trying to get through these reports as quickly as real life permits.
