I am trying to setup this plugin 7 have tried following the WIKI, but I'm just not understanding the directory structure & file name convention I need to use. I have 2 series, in a directory structure like:

TV\Series\Episode

So basically I have say:

TV\Heroes\Season 1\Episode 04 - Collision

Spaces are exactly as above. Should I be doing something like TV\Heroes\Season1\04xCollision with no spaces?

When I go into the configuration & do a scan, nothing is detected! What have I got to do to the structure/naming to make this work?

ok Still trying everything I can, even moved my files. I know have:

C:\Heroes\Season 1\Episode 02 - Don't Look Back

So my path is:

C:\

Expression is:

<series>\Season <season>\Episode <Episode> - <Title>.<ext>

Still getting nothing. Getting so frustrated as it must be something simple!

I use a differnet dir layout, mine being e:\Videos\Tv Shows\<Show>\<filename> where filename is for example 'Heroes.S01E01.avi'

I dont worry about title or splitting out each season into seperate dirs as the Plugin handles all this. In your case try renaming the file to Heroes.s01e04.Collision.<ext> and that should work.

Before using the mytv plugin i had all my tv series in this format

\<series>\Series 1\01 - episodename

But i've since moved all seasons into 1 folder

\<series>\0101 - episodename

and it works, but i would prefer to have had seasons in seperate folders, but couldn't find a way to make that work :(

I have each series in a root folder and then season folder like so:

\<series>\<seriesname>.101.episodename

its works fine for me as long as the it IE:

\heroes\heroes.101.beginnings.avi
