I have a cheap NAS device that I use to store all my photographs on (and eventually music/movies).
My media centre PC has this mapped as "\\storage1\media" -> "M:"
So, "m:\photos" contains 45 folders, each full of JPG photos. Explorer sees this fine, it is not slow, and works flawlessly.
In MediaPortal, I browse to this location and it doesn't show all the folders. It often shows around 25-29 folders, randomly ignoring some.
I say randomly, as it seems to choose which folders to display differently each time - sometimes doubling-up the folders.
I have tried by setting directories for both "M:\photos" and "\\storage1\media\photos".
I am wondering:
1) Is this a caching issue?
2) A timeout issue?
Thank you for any help you can provide.
