nothing will play (1 Viewer)

So everything seems to be working, Except for playback.
When i select the episode of the show i want to watch nothing happens.

i hit enter and it seems to freeze/glitch for just a second but then nothing happens. it just stays on the episode info screen. So i back out and try another episode and again nothing. It wont play any file from any series.

Any ideas?

Do your files play from My Videos?, you can also check out the Log files for Media Portal and TVSeries, by default they can be found from c:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Logs

It sounds like a codec issue...have a look at the wiki page below...

Good thinking, I'll check those logs.
I know its not a codec issue. Its seems more like a bad file location issue. maybe i'll find out in the log. thanks guys!

Yes, first check if the same file plays via My Videos. If MP can't play that file, here you go, codec.
