Hauppauge states that Only the Powercinema application installed codecs should be used if the Nova T 500 HD is used for watching HDTV. Can I use any other codec? Right now it doesn't matter what codec I select in Mediaportal, Graphedit always shows that the Hauppauge codec was connected.
I would like to uninstall Powercinema and use a codec with support for DXVA, but will the card still function with HDTV then?
