hey guys,
I recently purchased a kworld dual dvb pcie tuner because of the issues I was experiencing with my nova t500 card, mainly surrounding standby. As my new card is pcie it doesn't have any standby issues (not that i've seen so far anyways) and so as soon as my htpc I can watch tv or record without having to wait or reinitialise the tvservice. However I dont want to get rid of my nova t500 so I would like to know if it is possible to use it as the 3rd and 4th tuner in my system but without needing to reintialise the tvservice on resume of the need for a delay before the service starts. I am under the impression that the tvservice locks the first tuner when it resumes which is why I had issues because the t500 takes longer to start up, because the tuner wasn't ready. However if this is the case then is it possible that the tvservice will lock the pcie card tuner first and use the t500 only for recording, as I have the system wake up before 1 min before a recording starts that should be enough time for the card to intialize. I hope I have made some sense here because it's kinda difficult to explain. Hopefully someone understands what I want and can tell me if it is possible or not...:D

I understood it, I just couldn't say whether it will work or not :)

I like your thinking though. If I already had the hardware I would just go ahead and try it, I don't think you'll mess anything up if it doesn't work as you would hope.
