Hi,

what is the simplest way to get to Now playing from music menu? Now I have to go right to menu and the 5 times down to now playing.

Press the full-screen button on the remote (if you have no vizualizations setup). Otherwise in MP 1.2.0 there will be a global action mapped to Z to go to now playing.

You can also directly jump to Now Playing when starting a song from MediaPortals Configuration in the Music section.

You just press x (or Red button on the remote) - this works on my 1.1 and 1.2 system- kinda wonder where the Z option came from unless x has some restictions I do not know about.

X will take you to full screen viz if you have them enabled so there is no way to jump to now playing. I am kind of thinking now that perhaps Z and X should actually be the other way around and X (red) will always jump to now playing and Z will now jump to full screen viz

Yes sort of....
If you add music to a playlist and go into the playlist screen there is the option to shuffle. In MP 1.2 I am planning on adding a shuffle option to the now playing screen

shuffle - lik in winamp - would be great. In fact winamp library works great - You should make something like this. You write something and everything that has been found should be added to playlist with shuffle option

Have to agree with you there, I dont use Viz so have got used to hitting then Red button from to take me to Now Playing. But as far as I can tell this still works provided you dont have Viz enabled.

If anyone would be so kind, would you please tell me HOW to do this? I have searched all through the settings AND all through the forums and there are all kinds of references like the above, but no reference on how to actually do it!
