No there is no plugin, see the tips & tricks section for a program called HIP.
If it's a DirectInput remote then try the DirectInput plugin...

Hi. I have that problem too with nvtv remote. Thers no way to configure buttons. nvidia should update the remote software so we could use it, otherwise is very limited.

Searching in google i found some solutions. There are 2 brands that are selling the same model of remote, or at least of receiver, because this remotes support ir too, nvremote only supports rf. Ok, go to http://www.marmitek.com/en/software/9523.html or http://www.niveusmedia.com/support/PCremote.htm and download the software you prefer. I dont like marmiteks because software wont uninstall, but is easier to see the button assignments. The software from niveus media lets you configure the mouse pad speed and acceleration and uninstalls correctly. Before installing the new drivers remember to uninstall the nvidia drivers for the remote control.

Ok, with this software you are able to program some buttons. I get programming button error when trying to asign some of them(a lot of them really). So you cant use all the buttons on the remote , but enough of them to control general commands. Any way its weird, because the buttons that you can not configure work, and they reach the receiver but no action or unprogrammable button. If someone finds a way to use all the buttons please post.

Btw, after installing niveus software i download the last drivers for the receiver from x10, the hardware manufacter, and installed them. I think that niveus and marmitek come with 2.36 drivers, and this are 3.01. The remote software keeps working but the buttons dont work neither.

PS:Direct input plugin dont works for me, it doesnt detect directinput device

Uninstall nvidia remote drivers and install niveus. This will install niveus software and x10drivers(i think). Then exit niveus software and use msconfig to remove it from start items. Then with girder you can configure all the buttons in the nvtv remote.

The problem is to configure mouse clicks in the remote, i havent done it properly yet.

If theres an easier way to do this please tell.

I know this post is rather old, so probably i will not get any response to it. But i will try. I am not able to find any drivers for my CM21A USB Reciever on the X10 site, could I use the drivers for CM19A ?

You need to setup the TV tuner in "TV Server Configuration". There should be a shortcut on the Windows desktop. The primary action is to "scan for channels", but obviously there are other things to setup too (such as the folder to use for recordings). MediaPortal should be able to use your tuner provided that the tuner has a BDA...

It's working after some hours search: the Auto3D plugin which I haven't used for years was corrupting the start of the TV live stream from server to MP. If anyone has a similar problem - disable all old plugins and then enable one after another :-)

Yes. I've just this minute found the cause of the problem; though I haven't found the exact line of configuration that caused it. I am using a centrally configured system, meaning that some configuration files are stored centrally and are not overridden when installing new versions. It would seem that 1.31 had a change in...
