OFDB.de (german) scraper isn't working anymore. Replacement? (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I have the problem that moving pictures with ofdb.de as scraper isn't working since yesterday.

Is it because of the new design of the page: http://www.ofdb.de?

Anyone else suffering this problem?

The english scrapers are working, but I would like to have german details!

The ofdb scraper uses a web service to get the data.
Please check if you get a result for the following urls:

The two links didn't work.

And the backgrounds from themoviedb.org also not working.

Seems to be a webservice problem. Had no issues reaching it from work, now I get a "too much load" error.
I guess nothing can be done via the scraper (unless I'm mistaken with the webserver). Just wait and hope it recovers ...

This news sounds quite bad, I personally think they can't solve it that fast....

Is Cinefacts (link to Thread) a good alternate?

apart from cinefacts, I am also very interested in MaxMan23's question...

*edit* Read the last page, they have the same problem we have with OFDB

I tried the cinefacs plugin, does the job, but crashes often.
Also has some problems with the german special chars, so no perfect replacement for the OFDB Scraper.

The script uses n4rf.net

but..

Ich habe mit dem Betreiber von n4rf.net geredet. Er wird demnächst die Skripte veröffentlichen und dann stehen wieder verschiedene Möglichkeiten zur Verfügung.

Er hat mir auch dazu geschrieben, dass ofdb eine private Nutzung toleriert, imdb jedoch nicht.

Nach dem neuesten Blog Einträgen auf n4rf.net sollte das ganze wieder funktionieren.
