For the most part, I don't have any issues with audio or mediaportal in general. However, I have some ogm tv series that contain a couple audio tracks (japanese, english). In MediaPortal native player, I am unable to switch between the audio tracks (subtitles also not an option, even though they exist). The audio / subtitles are embedded in the ogm files. I am mainly concerned about getting audio to work rather than subtitles.
The native player automatically uses audio track 1, which is Japanese. I wish for track 2, which is English. I've tried using both the menu (right click) to adjust audio and using the A keyboard shortcut.
I'm using ffdshow for video decoder, mpc video decoder for h.264, ac3filter for mpeg/ac3 audio, mpc-mpa decoderfor aac audio. I also have haali media splitter installed (not sure where this is setup in mediaportal config - I followed a tutorial to set up mediaportal - http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1092168).
Does anyone know what the problem might be?
Edit: Forgot to mention - everything works fine in VLC media player. I can change audio tracks and subtitles easily without any issues. However, I'd like to be able to use the native mediaportal player. Or, the very least, I'd like to choose the file from mediaportal and have it open in vlc (it's too hard to keep track of what I've watched using just file names). But, I would prefer native player if possible.
