The title of the downloaded video does not show when pressing info button on the remote control when .xml is present (see the attached screenshots).

Strange, here it works ok (tested with blackglass and titan).
I do see a small delay though, first (for half a second or so) it displays onlinevideos.mp4 and after that it switches to the correct title.

Edit: Are the fields properly filled in in the xml? It should have values for TITLE, DESCRIPTION and DATE_RELEASED...

I tried with Titan, same problem.

As you can see from the attached xml, the fields are there. Can you try same video, here is the link:

None of them, that I see, currently work properly.

I tried with Titan, same problem.

As you can see from the attached xml, the fields are there. Can you try same video, here is the link:

Strange. It should read the properties from that xml...Can you post the onlinevideos.log?

I am not sure if you need the log, because I think I know where the issue comes from. The info screen looks fine only when playing back from within OnlineVideos' player. The problem appears when navigating to the download folder and playing back using MediaPortal video player. I thought both players should work same way, but they don't.

Can you reproduce the behavior? Is there a way to fix that? Do we really need the OnlineVideos xml files?

aha, playback outside of onlinevideos, i'll check that.
The file is needed for the extra info (airdate/description) that is used within onlinevideos (so when scrolling through the downloaded files in OV all the appropriate fields are filled correctly). If not for that xml you'd only have the title and not the rest

I can reproduce it. now to find some time to check what's happening in mediaportal (because there is the issue in the end)
