Windows Defender does not like MP 1.18 in addition to the usual (also on previous MP 1 releases) "unrecognized publisher" block durring install it now also detects a trojan in MPeCore.dll and puts it in quarantine. I trust that this is a false positive and not real malware (please confirm) as I restored it to be able to run MP 1.18.
    See attached screen shots.

Scan in defender & Malwarebyte - [install file and installed system] - clean.

Hmmmn, that is a worry.o_O I cleared the exclusion in Defender and re-installed 1.17 without problem. Deleted the first 1.18 download and downloaded again scanned and installed, all problem free. So where did it pick up that Trojan? Sourceforge??????

Just possible I think, unfortunately there is no time stamp on the detection of the Trojan but Defender was updated at 15:41 on the 13th, so before I did the first post but maybe after the problem.
