open fire plugin (1 Viewer)

Hi,

especially in winter when reading a book, I wish I had a chimney with an open fire. This may be a suggestion for a new MediaPortal plugin. I've already been looking for open fire screensavers, but they are all bad quality (e.g. 320*200 resolution).
My idea: maybe there is someone who can create a movie from a live open fire, that can be the base for a My Open fire plugin. It would be great, if even resolutions up to 1366*768 could be supported. Even better, if there could be sound support for Dolby Digital 5.1.
Anyway, this is only an idea and unfortunately I'm unable to develop a plugin like this.

Or you could just by a fireplace dvd, they're not that expensive.

From my IP TV I can get a "fireplace" on my telly (as well as an aquarium)... I can stream it with VLC, and upload it (or "torrent"-it) if you wish (when I find the time - probably tomorow).

I really like the idea of an "open fire plugin". I've been looking for something like this a couple of days ago. During my "research" I stumbled upon a couple of "fireplace screensavers", but all of them were just demo versions. Maybe you'll find a decent fireplace screensaver and manage to integrate it into a plugin...
