thanks, I just couldn't find anything about that change in the thread. I'm not that one who is approving your patch anyway, that mus be a dev, but do you have any more "hidden" changes in your patch? Don't get me wrong, I really like your work, because I'm annoyed by the slow EPG... I just want to go for sure that there are no hidden things which cause trouble on a different place, e.g. the documentation has to be updated if you change the EPG delay from minutes to seconds

I gonna wait until we switch to git and then try to use branch for preparing this patch in several steps - then i will retrigger the discussion for the patch with seconds in EPG.

Could be nice to optimize future 1.3.0
I can confirm that on Hotbird + Astra, i get 3500 Channel (TV) and it take time to list them.
Also i think a rework was done for TVE35 (but right now it take more time that in actual TVE3).

So what is the status of this patch @gibman @mm1352000

i need to learn the git workflow - there are so many features that i miss from SVN...
I hope it would be enough for me to read our wiki... and then make pull request? i am in test group, not dev group

Hi,

Sure, you have to clone the MP repo or you can try this :
Zip Master branch from GITHUB, do modification on files and then backup it for me, i can after that commit to a branch

No, but if you believe that it can come to master, then i will transfer those to actual master and post the diff here

TVE3.5 didn't use gentle so i think it's already optimized
