When importing media it seems it does case sensitive compares when checking for stacking..

eg

movie-cd1.avi
movie-CD2.avi

is considered a different movie.

Seems to be a bad default but if there is a reason for it then an option to do a case insensitive search would be nice..

Hi.
Actually i learn something. Their regex matching filenames is working according to some specific naming rules. So you should follow them as well otherwise it would be difficult to make it work. Not sure CD1/cd1. So if they're named correctly they would work forever and easy :)

My 50 pence...

Well unfortunately not everyone out there follows the same system :(
But as I said, an option to do case insensitive checks would work fine and make everyone happy :)

I have never seen a circumstance when someone has a different movie with exactly the same filename as another but the only difference is the casing..

the casing should not be a problem as everything is mostly handled as lowercase. We do/did have an issue on sorting however which might cause these two files to not join in the first place. This is fixed in 0.8.

However i am interested in your debug logs of what you are experiecing so if it's no problem for you can you post them here?
