Overall Roadmap and Feature Freeze (1 Viewer)

I’m wondering if anyone knows what the overall roadmap/plan is for Mediaportal and also when the feature freeze is likely to end. I’m not looking for dates or anything, but just a rough idea of the plan. I fully appreciate why the feature freeze is in place, as it’s important to make the software as stable and bug free as possible before adding more features.

As I understand it today we have RC2, which will be followed by RC3, after that 1.0.1 and somewhere in the future is Mediaportal 2.

My question is will there be any new feature releases between 1.0.1 and Mediaportal 2, or will any subsequent releases just be bug fixes.

You forgot MP1.0, when that's out a lot of new features are being incorporated in MP1.0.1 release, thats when the official feature freeze ends.

Time span, do not think anyone here can tell you a definate answer to that, depends how quickly the existing bugs die.

Hopefully not in the too distant future
