What video card do you use to get paid channels, I have comcast cable, and how did you set up everything. Did you just use the standard comcast box to your pc then to tv?

that really sounds like an authorization issue. do you already have an OpenSubtitlesConfiguration.xml in the programfiles\tean mediaportal\subtitledownloaders folder? there you can fill in your credentials. I'm sure it is documented somewhere...
