This has been asked for so many times
The problem is that pandora makes its money form advertising so the addverts and the player would have to be put in media portal some how.
You could use the internet plugin if you really want access to pandora form inside of MP

Pandora integration into mp would be realy a killer feature.
Wouldn't it be possible to write a plugin based on the webbrowser plugin, but dedicated to pandora ? With remote control keys mapped to the functions of the pandora player ?
I am pretty sure that something can be done. There is some standalone player for pandora : Pandora box, or open pandora.
Those soft have shortcuts (right click on app) to rate music, skip track, play / pause, station, ...

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo.
