For the life of me, I can't find the Party Shuffle option in Media Portal!

I'm using the latest release, and the BlueTwo1280X720 Skin..

A little help would be appreciated! I've searched all the forums, but haven't found any applicable info...

I don't even think you have to sign up at last.fm. If you want a completely random choice of songs you can use enable scrobble and then random. Dunno if that's the exact button text, but something like this should be there ;-)

    Hi,

MyMusic -> current Playlist -> choose Scrobble:similar and change that to Scrobble: random. You'll notice the status of the button changes to: Scrobble: offline. Now the playlist gets randomly populated with music from your database. Remember to also visit the AudioScrobbler plugin config as you can setup a few parameters as well for the offline mode.

    Kind regards,
    Michel

I still can't get that to work...

The Scobble button only alternates between "neighbours" and "similar" - and I can't find any mention of offline mode anywhere - including the plug-in configuation.

I've even signed up for a Lastfm account and that didn't seem to help.

All I'd like to do is have an easy way to shuffle all my music without waiting for the machine to crunch down a massive playlist of all my songs.

a lot of these features and options have been added only lately by rtv. So, depending on your mp version they might not show up yet.
use a svn version (at your own risk)
or wait for 0.2.0.5 stable patch

Unfortunately the devs decided my party shuffle feature was past its use by date (which it probably was I guess - I still like it better but hey, that's progress).

Rax: it would probably help if you would tell use which version of MP you're using. This is shown in the startup splash screen.

On my MP installation (0.2.0.4), I go to My Music -> Current Playlist then click the Scrobble: Similar button until it changes to Scrobble: Offline, then just click Scrobble On. I don't have a last.fm account.

I have 0.2.0.4 and I have the Party Shuffle button, but it doesn't do anything like it used to. Where are the 'scrobble' buttons (i enabled the plugin, but I don't see the button.)

The version you have may have been caught between the removal of party shuffle and the addition of the scrobble features. You should see the scrobble buttons in the playlist screen. Try using BlueTwo if not already, as the other skins may not be up to date.
