Are there any TV cards which have a pass through facility?

I doubt it, but in case someone out there knows...

Thanks.

Yes, there are. I have a DNTVLive! LP DVB-T card that has "antenna pass-through" (I assume this is what you are referring to?) with zero signal loss - works great!

    Cool! Thanks for the replies.

Only one problem...I haven't heard of DNTVLive! and I can't find Dvico cards either (in the UK).

I searched on Froogle and Google. Anyone know of a card available in Europe?

The Nebula DigiTV i have has a pass through, and i *think* the KWorld PCI card i have has this too (although i could be wrong, haven't used the card in a while and am not at home to check).

I would have to know more details, and ultimately, I'll have to test it when I get my new display, but an AI answer I got (I don't trust AI and this may not be correct) was that HDR is encoded with the HEVC codec and I know MePo uses the HEVC codec to play 4K UHD Blue-ray discs. So, there is at least the possibility that it will work...

Well, all that remains is to find someone who will add this render if it is a render.

Interesting. :coffee: I always have DVB subtitles enabled in "MP Config", but I actually switch on subtitles only for those films that have deafening sound effects and music, combined with inaudible dialogue. I have never noticed the problem that you have described, but I also use the EVR renderer, and not the Madvr renderer. So...
