This is starting to get really annoying.

Whenever I try to to resume a paused movie MediaPortal just exits fullscreen and goes back to the previous screen. It does not even save the position. I had this problem in Windows XP, tried reinstalling MP several times with no luck. Now I'm running Vista X64 Ultimate and I still have the same problem. I've tried reinstalling and using different codecs, nothing helps.

This does apply to both the remote and keyboard. I mean what the hell, what could be wrong? Any ideas? I'd hate to abandon MP just because of this as I really like it.

I have this problem too with 1.0.2, but it worked fine with 1.0.0. Sometimes resume from pause works, most of the time it just stops. I was hoping it was an issue with applying 1.0.2 over top of 1.0.0 and was going to try a fresh install, but after reading your post I'm not confident that it will resolve the issue. Maybe I'll just revert back to 1.0.0.

I think I have the same problem. I have pinned it down to happen only when playing files with AC3 (DD/DTS) sound. I realised this by playing a recorded show with the default AC3 sound, when trying to resume from pause I got back to the recorded shows. But when I changed the sound of the recording to the non AC3 track, I could resume from pause without any problem.

I have this problem with all types of video-files with DD/DTS sound (Recorded shows, TV Series, Moving pictures). I have tried differend audio codecs but the problem remains.

I have attached logs from when I first try to pause/play a recorded show with AC3 sound (exits playback), then the same recording after switching to non-AC3 audio (resumes fine):
