MediaPortal Version: Version 0.2.2.0 SVN (2007-02-20)
MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo
Windows Version: Windows XP ServicePack 2
CPU Type: AMD XP 1.7 GHz
HDD: Maxtor 60 Gb
Memory: 512 Mb
Motherboard: ?
Video Card: ATI Radeon 7500
Video Card Driver:
1. TV Card: PVR-150 MCE

When I try too scan for channels in the config the computer freezes and I have to reboot! I have tried different MP versions (clean installation and different SVN versions) but it always freezes somewhere during the scan except one time, where by luck I got the channels installed.
My computer is running a bit unstable and crashing now and then (in the homemenu, during a movie...) I figured it was some RAM error, but if I remove the PVR-150 MCE card it seems too run fine (only tested for a few days).

Now I'm updateing too the latest SVN and have to do the scan again  .

I'm pretty sure all of the essentials are installed on my machine plus the codecs. When it doesn't crash, it runs very nice!

    Hi,
Did you scan in MP Setup (Configuration) -> Television -> Capture Cards & your card + edit & scan?
The one from inside MP has problems & can cause a freeze.

    Hi,
    Then it's time to attach logs (MediaPortal.log & error.log in MediaPortal\log)

Sorry for the slow reply. I've just tried to update the PRV-150 driver and had some problems, but now it looks like it's working... or at least I hope so.
Anyway, if that's the case then all I had to do was reinstall the driver (oh yes and I moved the PCI card one slot).

Ronilse -> Thanks for the help. I will upload the logs if it crashes again.
