When I'm watching a DVD, it seems as though my PC goes to sleep. All of a sudden, the monitor will go black. I still hear sound, but the picture is blank. As soon as I hit a button on the remote, keyboard, or mouse, the monitor comes back to life.

Btw, is there any reason why none of the bugs (and I've reported about 8) have gotten any replies? I know it takes time to fix bugs, but I can't even get a "we're working on it", "I can/can't reproduce it", etc. Am I posting wrong? In the wrong place? I'm having a bunch of issues that I'd love to get resolved, but I can't even seem to get them acknowledged.

Ya know, the thing I keep hearing is the best feature of MP is its responsive community... I can't get any responses about bugs I post! I mean I'm not even getting responses when I ask why no one ever responds!

Does anyone actually read these bug reports? Or am I wasting my time documenting all my issues?

    Hi,

Have you checked the "Blank screen when..." setting in the Configuration tool? And the "Turn off monitor..."?

    /Peter

PS. I do find the community very responsive and I've rarely had to wait any more than a couple of days for any help.

Both of the options you mentioned are unchecked. Also, I know everyone says they respond so fast, but as you can see, I posted this 5 days ago and you're the first to respond. I posted about 5-6 other bug reports, only 1 got a response and not from a team member, only from someone who misunderstood my problem...

And it is not WinXP regular screensaver? I used to have it blank the screen while watching movies but when I turned it off I the problem was gone.
