Synopsis::

I have a "Unable to create graph" error message when I add my tuner card in Media portal setup utility.

Then, when I want to watch TV it does not work and I have the same error message.

Additionnal note: I was having a working media portal with Hauppauge PVR 350 TV tuner card (v0.2.0).
Since that, I've changed the TV card and it was not working any more.
I've upgraded to the latest Media portal version (v0.2.1) and it still does not work with my PCTV tuner card.
I've seen that they were PCTV cards supported in supported hardware section, so I'm not sure if my card is supported or not...

You have to install a supported software encoder to get that card working. Searching the forums should help.

InterVideo WinDVR3, download the trial & install. The encoder works without registering.

But Pinnacle might offer one as well. Maybe have a look at other driver packages from other Pinnacle cards. The encoder is universal, so card-independant.
